Hi All
Just a quick entry, we left Broome behind us,and looking forward to getting under the stars and do some free camping, our first stop was Ellendale rest area it was a big camping area and all was peaceful with a hand full of fellow caravaners, we were settling in for the evening and then 5 car loads of backpackers rolled in and there went the tranquility 🙁 non of which spoke English and must have been a competition on who could scream the loudest, we put up with this for a few hours and then had to go over and let them know that the third movie of Wolf Creek was about to commence, funny how they all understood that and they went to bed :-).

After an eventful night we packed up and drove to Fitzroy Crossing and stayed one night at the Lodge so we could leave Jock at the caravan and go into the Geikie NP.
Geikie Gorge just before sunset
after a nice walk through the NP we took a drive around Fitzroy crossing and a look at the famous Crossing Inn pub.

the next day we were on our way again and ended up at Ngumban Cliff camp, its a beautiful spot looking over the escarpment and distant ranges, we liked it here so stayed for a couple of days, with some great light shows and sunsets.

then we headed towards spring creek (Bungle Bungle turnoff) and on the way we stopped at little panton river for lunch, while there I took the opportunity to get some bird photography and Robyn and Jock spending a few hours swimming in the creek
